gulet appleals to all age groups.it can be as
relaxing or as energetic an experence as desired.
You may do your own shopping for meals if
you prefer. The crew will still cook for you
unless you wish to prepare a special dish for
your party.one day you may decide to read a book
while sipping a drink and sunning on deck. A
more active day may include windsurfing, fishing
or, when the yacht is at anchor in a beautiful
cove, hiking in the woods or swimming and
snorkeling amid schools of fish and ancient
underwater ruins. While docked you may wish
to spend the morning touring a nearby
ancient city or have a special shore evening
in town or in a turkish village. |

The Crew |

There’s no need
for you to be an experienced yachtman. Your
captain and crew are experienced seafarers,
usualy lokal turkish people, who know the
cruising grounds in and will share their
knowledge, skill and lokal lore with you.in
addition to running the sails safely and
according to the itinerary you have chosen, they
are prepared to assist and pamper you in every
way, from suggesting suitable anchorages and
arranging shore excursions to serving you
cocktails and three delicious meals a day.

The
clear blue waters of the sunny mediterranean are

yacht…Turkish gulets were originaly built
for use by fishermen and sponge divers. Today
they are luxuriosly designed especialy for
chartered holidays. Their large, unclutered
decks are ideal for sunbathing and dining. These
gracious and elegant motor sailers, built of
wood in traditional sytle,range from 18 to 26
meters in lenght and can accommodate 88 to
20 persons in spacious twin-berthed or double-berthed
cabins. Quarters for the crew of three are
completely seperate with private facilities and

The
fabled Blue Cruise Vessels sail through the
crystal blue waters of the Turkish Aegean and
Mediterranean, past beaches, pine clad hills and
slept harbour towns to secluded coves and bays
dotted with picturesque islands and marble ruins
to explore. Anytime between May and October, the
healthy mix of Sea Breeze,
salt and sun obtained
while sailing a Vessel in the Mediterranean is
also the ideal combination for a perfect tan for
the resort Towns of Marmaris, Bodrum, and
Antalya. Homeports to the majority of Gulets,
are the main boarding and disembarktion spots
for blue voyages. You may sail in two main
coastal areas named after the ancient
civilizations that built on these shores. The
Carian coast extends North of Marmaris to Bodrum, the Gulf of Gokova, datca, The Gulf of
Hisaronu and to the Aegean port of Kusadasi. These areas also offer such famous archeological
sites as Ephesus City, Miletus, Didyma, İassos,
and Knidos. The Lycian Coast extends South and
east along the Mediterranean from Marmaris to
Kemer and Antalya. While passing the pine-clad
covered mountains descending directly into the
sea. You may choose the anchor at lovely Gocek
Bay for swimming and snorkeling. İf you dock in
Fethiye you will delight and excursion to
Oludeniz (Blue Lagoon). A Beautiful inland sea
lined with white sand beaches. Countinuing along
the coast, you will be able to view right from
your board the ruins of ancient Caunos, Patara,
Kekova, Phasellis and Olympos. And a few miles
inland , Xanthos and Letoon. |

Itinerary |

Your choice of itinerary from the among the
many and varied ports of call between Bodrum
and Antalya will depend the upon number of
days, pace, seasonal winds and taste. It is
advised not to try covering more than 25
miles a day and less than that when you are
sailing upwind ora re seeking a relaxing
trip. Marmaris which has the largest
flotilla of cruising yachts in the Aegean-Mediterranean region, is popular departure point for a
round trip charter, either northwest to the
Aegean side or South-East as far as Kekova
or even Kemer or Antalya. South of Marmaris
you will experience some enjoyable bay-hopping
while taking time to enjoy swimming and
other water sports. Then you can anchor at
Ekincik and take a small boat up to
reedlined dalyan Delta to the ancient caunos
and lake Koycegiz with its healing Mudbaths,
passing lycian Tombs carved in the High-Cliffs.
Then you may visit legendary Cleopatra’s (Cedrea)
Island in Gokova Bay with an enormous beach. |
